This website is to be considered a personal blog dedicated to sharing the passion for travel and information that can be useful for travelers. TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
1. Web browsing data
During normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire some personal data which are implicitly transmitted in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but due to its technical nature it could, through processing with data held by third parties, allow users / visitors to be identified (e.g. IP address, type of browser, etc.).
These data are used only for statistical information (therefore they are anonymous) and to check the correct functioning of the website and are deleted immediately after processing, except for any investigations of computer crimes against the site.
2.1 General information on cookies
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by users send to their terminals (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on each subsequent visit through the same terminal. In addition, each site can allow the transmission of the so-called “third party” cookies, ie those generated by websites other than the one the user is visiting (through objects present in it such as banners, images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains).
Depending on their duration, they are divided into session cookies (i.e. temporary cookies and automatically deleted from the terminal at the end of the browsing session, closing the browser) and persistent cookies (i.e. those that remain stored on the terminal until their expiry or cancellation by the user).
Cookies have different purposes. They are primarily used for the transmission of the communication or to provide the service requested by the user; more precisely, they allow you to enable and optimize the functioning of the website, perform IT authentications and prevent abuse, monitor sessions, improve the browsing experience of users, for example by keeping active the connection to reserved areas while browsing through the pages of the site without the need to re-enter User-Id and password and storing specific information regarding the users themselves (including preferences, the type of browser and computer used).
The aforementioned cookies are called “technical” (user consent is not required for their use), as without them some of the aforementioned operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure.
Otherwise, if the cookies are used for other purposes, typically for analysis of the behavior and sending of personalized promotional-advertising messages (so-called “profiling” cookies) or even just to obtain, through third party services, information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site (so-called “analytics cookies”), the user’s consent is required. In fact, before sending these cookies on the terminal, in accordance with current legislation, at the moment when you access the home page or other page of the site, a banner is immediately shown in the foreground with a first summary information on the use of the cookies and on the collection of consent, which the user can provide by continuing to browse by selecting an element below the banner or by closing the banner itself.
This website can use technical and analytics cookies. The types of cookies directly generated by this website are called “technical” cookies, used to correctly provide access to the website and a better and faster display of content.
The use of Cloudflare is based on our legitimate interest in providing our website as error-free and secure as possible (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

2.3 “Third party” cookies
This Site also allows the transmission of third-party cookies to the user’s terminal, with which the Website Management collaborates or which services it uses. The Website Management limits itself, as a technical intermediary, to send these cookies, but does not manage their operation (therefore it does not have control and access to the information provided/acquired) since their operation is the responsibility of the third parties set off.
For these cookies, it is possible to access the information and the third party consent forms, by visiting the links below.
The third parties are:

The purpose of data processing: analytics and conversion tracking based on consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.
2.5 Management of cookie choices
You can manage your cookie preferences directly within your browser and prevent third parties from installing them. Through browser preferences, it is also possible to delete the cookies installed in the past, including the cookie in which consent to the installation of cookies by this website is eventually saved. It should be noted that by disabling all cookies, the functioning of this website could be compromised.
3. Data provided voluntarily by users/visitors
If users/visitors, by connecting to this site, send their personal data to access certain services, or to make requests via e-mail, this entails the acquisition by the Website Management of the sender’s address and/or of any other personal data that will be processed exclusively to respond to the request, or for the provision of the service.
The personal data provided by users/visitors will be communicated to third parties only if communication is necessary to comply with the requests of the users/visitors themselves.
METHOD OF TREATMENT
The treatment is carried out through IT tools and/or manually (e.g. on paper) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and in any case, in accordance with the current regulatory provisions on the subject.
PROVIDING DATA IS OPTIONAL
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, users/visitors are free to provide their personal data. Their absence can only make it impossible to obtain what is requested.
RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES
Users/visitors have the right to access their data at any time and to exercise their other rights (ask for the origin of the data, request correction or updating or integration of inaccurate or incomplete data, request the cancellation or blocking for those processed in violation of the law, or oppose their use for legitimate reasons) provided for in articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of GDPR by writing to the e-mail address: info
